Last Monday’s Parish Council meeting with Kirtling & Upend residents was a great success capturing many of the needs and ideas of our parishioners.
Among the areas of interest include; expanding the speed limit boundaries to incorporate new properties, traffic calming within the existing 30 mph range as well as developing a ‘pride in parish’ desire program and better road/footpaths
Moreover, it also emerged that the Neighbourhood Plan is very much needed to provide a framework for what we as residents’ want our parish to be.
Thank you to all those parishoners who attended and contributed to the evenings discussion that now forms the basis of our future working agenda.
The Parish Council will be holding similar feedback and engagement events going forward and we look forward to seeing you then!
