“We went for lunch after a walk in the very pleasant surrounding countryside ( highly recommend the area for walking ). On both occasions we found the pub very friendly and welcoming. A big plus for us is being able to take our dog inside. To find such a lovely pub that serves good food in a fairly rural location is great these days. If it was my local I would be in there all the time!” Source: TripAdvisor
