Hi Parish,
On Sunday 29th April a group of residents from both Upend and Kirtling met at the Red Lion to litter pick the roads, lanes and footpaths around Kirtling. As you can see, the efforts produced a sizeable pile of rubbish!
A big thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who braved the cold. Another great community effort. Thank you also to the Parish Council for providing the litter picking equipment.
Next year we will aim to do the litter pick a little earlier in the year before the verges start to grow. We are also considering doing another litter pick in the Autumn once the verges have died back.
