Hello everyone,
Just dropping you a line to let you know what is going on over the next few weeks.
British cooking is high and the proof is in the pie and next week it is British Pie Week once more. We will have all our delicious home made pies on, and will be trialing some new veggie recipes too. We will also have a Pie of the Day and a pint for £12.
Thursday 17th March is St Patrick's Day and to celebrate we will be offering a Pint of Guinness and a delicious plate of Irish Stew with Hazel's Soda Bread for £10.
Easter is fast approaching and we have an Easter Draw with lots of prizes, including a Thursday Night steak meal for two, Pizza Meal for four, wine and lots of Easter Eggs too and only £1 per ticket!!
ALL Profits from this draw will be going to a local charity Riding for the Disabled in Barrow which is our Charity of 2016 – please support this very worthy cause.
On Easter Sunday we will be hosting a Family Quiz starting at 5pm. This is a great family event and is well attended so do arrive early. There is lots of fun for all the family and the Easter Bunny might show up!!!
The Grand National is on Saturday 9th April and once again we will be showing it. Racing will be on all day and the main race is at 4pm. Don't forget to pop in the week before and have a go on the sweep stake too.
So cum ed la's and queens, get yer kecks and clobber on, grab some slummy and get yerself down ere for a boss time like, some great scran like and ave a bevvie or two like. We would be made up to see ya ere for The Grand National like.
