Thank you to everyone who supported the Macmillan Coffee Morning at the Red Lion last Saturday. We made the amazing sums of £470, of which £209 came from the raffle which featured the quilt that Hilda Bailey made for the village show and won first prize and best entry in the Craft Section. She donated it to Macmillan in memory of her sister who died last year and as a thank you for the wonderful care she received. The quilt was won by Julie Horncastle. Thank you to everyone who donated other raffle prizes, cakes and plants, also to Hazel at the Red Lion for her hospitality and for donating the coffee.
