Hi Parish,
The District Council is in the process of drawing up a new Local Plan for housing development over the next twenty years and, as part of this exercise, have asked landowners to put forward land for consideration for housing development.
This part of the process is now complete and Kirtling and Upend Parish Council has been called on to engage in a ‘special consultation’ to determine whether the suggested site should be included in the final Local Plan and go forward for consideration by an ECDC Full Council meeting later in the year.
It is important to note that at this stage the site has been suggested by the landowner and has not been approved by ECDC in anyway.
Below you will see a map of the suggested site, which is for 8 houses
