Hi Parish,
On St George's Day (Sunday 23rd April) a group of residents from both Upend and Kirtling met at the Red Lion to litter pick the roads, lanes and footpaths around Kirtling. As you can see, the efforts produced a sizeable pile of rubbish which included a broken mirror, a traffic cone and a road sign!
The Residents Group wish to send a huge thanks to those who turned up. We also would like to thank the Parish Council for providing the litter pick equipment.
We would like to arrange future litter picks including one to tackle the roads leading to/from Upend. These will need to arranged for when the verges die back again.
